Stephani Bennion grew up on a potato farm in Southeast Idaho. After graduating in English from Brigham Young University, she and her husband moved to Indiana, then California. Stephani's long-time friendship with Margret began while they served together as volunteers in California. Their association led to an effort to help promote Pillows for Peace and expand its internet presence. Stephani was the catalyst to incorporate forPEACE.
While raising her three children, Stephani taught piano and worked as a librarian in an elementary school. Currently Stephani is teaching language arts at a junior high and finishing a master’s degree in secondary education. She is also on the board of a community non-profit, “Service for Humanity,” which provides service opportunities for local groups.
