NAZARETH, Israel — In response to an invitation from Dr. Salim Nakhleh, Director of St. Vincent de Paul Hospital in Nazareth, Israel, forPEACE is organizing and will oversee a two-week mural installation in the hospital’s Irwin Green Child Development Center.
Mural conceptualization and design will be led by art professor and children’s book illustrator Bethanne Andersen. Under Bethanne’s direction, five exceptional artists have been selected to assist.
All artist design and labor is being donated.
The walls selected for the murals are located in a stair well from the entrance to the Child Development Center to the first floor of patient rooms. Hospital Directors and staff are excited for the mural to visually stimulate and lift the spirits of patients and visitors.
