Community Development
We transform aid from a transient intervention into a long-term investment in people and their communities.
We view our local partners as experts who can effectively and sustainably not only address war-caused needs but do so with vision for how to strengthen their communities and make Ukraine better. There is no “one size fits all”. Our programs are flexible, varied, and fill in the inevitable niche holes within international aid programs: local farming initiatives, tractors for public utilities so they can restart public services, employment programs for IDPs and veterans, supporting a village’s youth desire to launch a radio program in order to daily communicate with the children living in neighboring occupied territories.
We also ensure that we support a local community’s grassroots efforts on behalf of their local defenders on the front. We empower local initiatives and amplify natural communal momentum.
